OPAI Leadership

Executive Advisory Group (EAG)

The Executive Advisory Group (EAG) is a utility‑led subset of the Leadership Council that provides more focused executive input on OPAI strategy and execution. The EAG plays a central role in prioritizing consortium initiatives, guiding partnerships, and ensuring that utility perspectives remain at the core of decision‑making. Working closely with EPRI and the Leadership Council, the EAG helps translate strategic guidance into actionable priorities that support scalable, responsible, and impactful adoption of AI across the electric power industry.

OPAI Leadership Council

The Open Power AI Consortium (OPAI) Leadership Council is an invitation‑only group of senior executives from leading electric utilities and technology providers. The Leadership Council provides strategic guidance to help shape OPAI’s direction, priorities, and outcomes, ensuring that consortium activities remain focused on real‑world utility needs, practical deployment of AI technologies, and supports EPRI’s public benefit mission. Leadership Council members help identify high‑value AI use cases, priority partnerships, and opportunities to accelerate development, piloting, and deployment across the power sector. Through periodic virtual engagements and in‑person discussions, the Leadership Council informs OPAI work plans and helps align collaborative efforts across utilities, technology providers, and research partners.
